Eggs Up Grill prepares to open first Powdersville location on Monday, May 20

POWDERSVILLE, S.C. — Eggs Up Grill is preparing to open its first Powdersville location on Monday, May 20. Located at 10919 Anderson Road, the favorite dining spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch will operate Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday at 8 a.m.

“When my husband and I began looking into investment opportunities, we never even considered the restaurant industry,” said Debi Brannon, owner of the new Powdersville location along with her husband, Kevin Brannon. “But the very first time I walked into an Eggs Up Grill, I fell in love with the vibe and called about ownership opportunities that same day. As we went deeper into the process, the doors kept opening – we loved the brand’s business model and hours and then we found the perfect site. Now here we are ready to open and more excited than ever.”

With seating for 100, this 3,000-square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. As Powdersville is a community rooted in family values with steady residential growth, the new Eggs Up Grill will be focused on serving neighbors and being a positive part of the community. “We knew we would open our Eggs Up Grill in Powdersville, as this has been our home for more than 20 years. We’ve raised our family here, and love this tight-knit, family-oriented town. We plan to be a gathering place for families and residents of the community, and look forward to finding ways to give back to our friends and neighbors,” said Debi.

The Powdersville location will employ around 25 team members, including a mix of part-time and full-time positions. The restaurant is always accepting application, and those interested in employment may apply at the location.

Eggs Up Grill currently operates 33 restaurants in three states – Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina – and will be entering Florida in 2019. The new Powdersville location is part of the brand’s aggressive expansion plans across the Southeast. The Spartanburg-based franchise is slated to open its flagship restaurant and corporate training center in Spartanburg this summer.

The Powdersville location will open with a new, refreshed menu featuring items like Avocado Toast and Eggs, a Breakfast Burrito, Sweet Potato Praline Pancakes and a Pimento Cheese Burger. Menu categories include breakfast sandwiches, benedicts, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, as well as classic breakfast plates, home-fry bowls and fan-favorite muffins. Lunch choices include burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads. The menu also offers heart-healthy and gluten-friendly options and a kid’s menu. Additionally, the Powdersville Eggs Up Grill will be focused on proving itself as a top catering go-to for the large number of thriving businesses located in close proximity to the restaurant.
