Eggs Up Grill’s newest franchisees, Jackson Turner and Darby Smith were featured in the Upstate Business Journal regarding their five-unit deal with the fast growing franchise brand.

Eggs Up Grill was recently featured in the Upstate Business Journal regarding a five-unit restaurant agreement with Wendy’s multi-unit franchisee Jackson Turner and Henry’s Smokehouse owner Darby Smith. The brand, which has grown to over 40 locations, has plans to open 15-20 new locations in 2020 and another 20 in 2021, the article states.
According to the article, Turner and Smith are excited to be part of the expansion of the brand while utilizing their industry knowledge.
“There’s a really big market for breakfast catering,” Turner said in the article. “We feel like that area has not really been tapped into yet as much as it could be, and with Darby’s experience with Henry’s Smokehouse, we’re positioned well for that.”
The friends will be announcing their location in Easley soon and are still on the hunt for their Clemson location. According to the article, once both locations are in operation, they’ll start putting plans in place for the next 3 locations and have plans to put a strong focus on expanding the catering business throughout the Upstate.
“We want to get going here in the Upstate because we know this area well,” Turner said in the article, as the duo has grown up and lived in South Carolina their entire lives.
