Eggs Up Grill to Open in Bluffton Next Spring

Local couple to bring popular breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot to New Riverside Village

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Eggs Up Grill, a rapidly expanding breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept, will open in Bluffton, S.C. next spring. Located at May River Road and Highway 170 in New Riverside Village, this is the first Eggs Up Grill for Franchise Partners and longtime Bluffton residents Lori and George Hutson.

Lori Hutson grew up in Bluffton and started working at a Wendy’s in Hilton Head when she was 16 – the franchisee’s first hire – where she spent eight years. She went on to a long and prosperous career in retail, including district manager positions with Famous Footwear and Dollar Tree. George Hutson is a general contractor and is the owner of GTH Construction. His family has been in Bluffton since the sixties. The couple raised their family in the area and have been heavily involved in the community. Now that their children are grown, they felt that Eggs Up Grill would be a new way to serve others. The Hutsons chose the New Riverside Village location because of the need for restaurant options.

“This is a great opportunity to be one of the first restaurants in the area where our neighbors can come by golf cart, bike or car, and have a sit-down meal where my team members and I will know their names and their orders,” said Lori Hutson. “I want our guests to know how much we care and set the standard for the area.”

With indoor seating for 97 and outdoor seating for 28, the 2,871 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright, and cheery atmosphere. The Bluffton restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering, and delivery options available.

Eggs Up Grill serves its full menu open to close. Signature menu items include the founder’s recipe corned beef hash with potatoes, onions, and special spices, as well as made-to-order omelets, buttery, grilled blueberry muffins, classic breakfast dishes, and lunch selections including burgers, melts, salads, and more. Eggs Up Grill also caters events big or small, with a menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy, and muffins. Salads and sandwiches are available for catered lunch.

With locations across the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, and soon entering Texas, Mississippi, and Ohio, Eggs Up Grill offers a unique experience for guests and franchise partners alike. Its great-tasting food and drinks, uniquely friendly service, and everyday affordability make Eggs Up Grill a number-one choice for guests.

Eggs Up Grill is all about neighbors serving neighbors. The Hutsons look forward to supporting first responders and Little League and high school sports programs. The Bluffton restaurant will begin hiring management and hourly positions later this year. Those interested can apply online at eggsupgrill.com.
